Appendix 4

Key references and further reading

Introduction

This section includes guides to further reading and the references used in some chapters. Several books are referred to many times, especially pharmacopoeias and similar ‘official’ books. Others are important textbooks, including the two companion volumes to this book. These have been grouped together in the first section. This is followed by a chapter by chapter listing of other suggested reading to expand on the individual chapters and the references cited within the chapters, where appropriate.
